THE LAND OF GREEN PLUMS, سرزمین گوجه‌های سبز

 سرزمین گوجه های سبز

Hertta Muller

This is our story in Islamic repoblic of Iran wroted by Hertta Muller in 1993. In my opinion, best described from Herta Muller book, Land of Green Plums comes from the New York Times.

Ms. Muller's vision of a police state manned by plum thieves reads like a kind of fairy tale on the mingled evils of gluttony, stupidity and brutality.

Jonas reached the opposite side of the river, stopped briefly, and looked back. The community where his entire life had been lived lay behind him now, sleeping. At dawn, the ordinary, disciplined life he had always known would continue again, without him. The life where nothing was ever unexpected.Or inconvenient. Or unusual. The life without color, pain, or past. Page 207
